The Hidden Carafe

"The Hidden Carafe" (Ref. 801) is a work by Ruggero Ruggieri that plays with the concepts of presence and absence. Within this 40x30 cm format, the artist uses a palette of earthy colors and warm ochres to hide and reveal, amidst the layers of acrylic, the silhouette of a carafe. The everyday object loses its function to become a geometric pretext, a shadow emerging from the medium applied with a skillful use of the palette knife. The work exudes an archaic calm and a tactile depth that invites the viewer to "dig" with their eyes through the warm tones of the earth. Perfect for those seeking sophisticated abstract art capable of integrating into modern environments, bringing with it the warmth of natural tones and a solid, thoughtful compositional structure.
