"Vele al promontorio" (Ref. 122) stands out for its delicate and almost dreamlike palette (18x24 cm). In this work, Ruggero Ruggieri softens the tones, using cerulean blues and subtle greens to describe the meeting of coast and sea. The palette knife works here through subtraction and overlapping, creating a vibrant surface where sailboats seem to appear like luminous mirages against the blurred rock face.
